Job summary

LangChain, Inc. is seeking a People Operations specialist located in San Francisco to own onboarding end-to-end, run in-person cohorts, and shape the US-wide employee experience.

You’ll be the primary HR touchpoint during US hours and collaborate across IT, Payroll, and Workplace. This role blends logistics, compliance, and hospitality, requiring proactive SOP creation, parity between in-office and remote onboarding, and AI-enabled automation to reduce repetitive tasks while maintaining privacy

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in people operations, HR coordination, or onboarding at a high-growth tech company.
• Hands-on HRIS experience (Rippling preferred).
• Documentation-first instincts: processes are written, current, and usable by others.
• AI fluency: using tools to increase leverage and automate repetitive tasks.
• White-glove judgment: handle compensation, immigration, and personal data with discretion.
• Resilient ownership: comfortable in a globally distributed, fast-paced environment.
• Operating principles: embody company operating principles.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding end-to-end, including pre-boarding, docs, and IT handoffs.
• Run cohort day and in-person onboarding cohorts in SF.
• Drive the 90-day support structure, cadence, and onboarding survey loop.
• Be the front line during US hours, resolving simple questions and routing complex ones.
• Write and maintain onboarding SOPs, bridge in-office vs remote onboarding, create paths for rehires and international hires.
• Automate your work using AI for status chasing, provisioning checklists, and survey synthesis.
