Box Clever in San Francisco is seeking an Industrial Design Intern for a 3–6 month, in-person internship starting November 2026. You will join a fast-paced studio to contribute to client projects, co-design products, and gain real-world experience across development phases.

The role requires advancing CAD skills with Solidworks/Rhino and a strong eye for visual direction, plus the ability to sketch concepts, print prototypes, and collaborate with leadership and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.
• Strong CAD skills and ability to translate sketches to CAD models.
• Ability to prepare designs for DFM and incorporate feedback from partners.
• Proficiency in digital visualization to engage clients.

Responsabilités

• Work on and support projects in all phases of development.
• Explore visual directions and participate in client reviews.
• Sketch industrial design concepts as part of a project team.
• Support ideation through physical mockups, including 3D printing.
• Participate in brainstorms and collaborative activities.
• Take direction from leadership and work across all levels.
• Support product research and inspirational image gathering.
