Job summary

Marks, part of the Propelis Group, seeks a Design Engineer Intern in Chicago for a 6-month term. You will support engineering and industrial design teams on consumer product and packaging projects, performing 3D modeling in SolidWorks and rapid prototyping tasks.

You will learn to collaborate in a fast-paced creative environment, work with engineers and designers, and create test reports and specifications for development work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• 3D modeling in SolidWorks and rendering in Keyshot.
• Design, development, and testing of consumer products and packaging.
• Rapid prototyping with 3D printers, CAD cutting table, and vacuum former.
• Assist engineers and designers in prototyping and testing new solutions.
• Attend client meetings to provide technical support and problem solving.
