Job summary

Amazon seeks a Product Design Engineer Intern to design 3D models, prototype, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. You may interface with suppliers, support R&D prototyping, and help prepare designs for production, including DFx considerations.

Applicants should be pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering in the United States, able to commit to 12 weeks at 40 hours per week, and demonstrate CREO/3D CAD proficiency for engaging projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or has completed a US-based Mechanical Engineering program with expected conferral Oct 2026–Dec 2029.
• Available to commit to 12-week internship and 40 hours/week.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably CREO.
• U.S. location eligible for internship.

Responsibilities

• Design and build 3D models for testing and prototyping.
• Collaborate with HW and SW teams across disciplines.
• Interface with suppliers and integrate components.
• Support design validation and mass-production readiness (DFx).
• Participate in cross-functional program integration.
