The Fabric Center in Morris, Illinois is seeking a dynamic Sales & Office Manager to lead daily retail operations, drive machine and product sales, and build strong customer relationships within the sewing and textile community.

The ideal candidate is goal-driven, sales-focused, and experienced in coaching teams, with the ability to manage high-value transactions and promote in-store events and education. This full-time role includes growth opportunities and a supportive store culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate a sales team.
• Proven experience in selling sewing machines, fabrics, notions, and related products.
• Strong customer service mindset with focus on education and relationship building.
• Ability to organize events, classes, and community outreach initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Motivate and coach the sales/customer service team to achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Sell sewing machines, fabrics, notions, and related products in a professional retail environment.
• Demonstrate sewing and embroidery machines; educate customers on features, capabilities, and benefits.
• Build and maintain a personal book of business through strong customer relationships.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming, knowledgeable store environment.
