Job summary

Greater Western Water is recruiting a Field Maintenance Officer, Sewer to join our team across multiple sites. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on the sewer network, inspect assets, respond to incidents and support reliable wastewater services for our growing communities.

This hands-on role requires practical experience in utilities or similar industries, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work with field crews and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in operational environments within utilities.
• Strong customer focus and clear communication.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and teams.
• Commitment to safety and a positive work culture.
• Hold or be eligible for Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on sewer network assets.
• Provide field-based customer care during service disruptions.
• Respond to sewer blockages, spills and incidents.
• Log and report service updates using our in-house system.
• Ensure work adheres to safety standards and policies.
• Contribute ideas to improve operations.
• Build relationships with internal teams and external providers.
