Job summary

FloWorks, a Houston-based engineering and valve solutions company, seeks a highly capable sales engineer to support Triple S Flotech's Severe Service Specialists products. The role focuses on understanding customer processes, proposing valve configurations, and driving quotations through the outside sales team.

You will work with customers to capture needs, perform technical reviews, and coordinate with engineering and operations to deliver bids on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years in technical customer support or troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• 2+ years in-plant operations experience.
• 2+ years of knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Strong business acumen and operations understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and develop solutions for valve configurations and performance.
• Technical knowledge of Control Valves, Desuperheaters, and Steam Conditioning Products.
• Provide pre-sale technical support: understand customer systems, select products, provide data and design support.
• Provide post-sale technical support: troubleshoot issues and review test data with customers.
• Coordinate with outside sales and other departments to ensure best service and quotes.
• Maintain records of quotations and updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in training or mentoring associates.
