Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive technical commercial growth across flagship chemical and refining accounts in Greater Houston, including Pasadena. You will lead technical sizing, sizing tools, and proposals, serving as the primary technical authority for Flowserve’s control valves, actuation, and digital flow technologies.

Qualifications

5–8+ years in technical sales or application engineering in industrial flow control.
Solid experience with control valves, severe-service valves, or valve automation.
Strong knowledge of sizing methods and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Lead technical sizing and proposal development for high-value capital projects and turnarounds.
Provide technical consultation on severe-service trim, cavitation control, noise mitigation, and actuation.
Develop persuasive quotations using Flowserve sizing tools to win high-margin orders.
Partner with reliability, maintenance, and project teams to capture outages and retrofits.
Mentor junior sales engineers and application engineers.
