Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with complex needs under licensed staff. You will assist with curriculum adaptations, behavior plans, and progress tracking in a busy school setting.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, assisting with assessments, and maintaining confidentiality while supporting small groups and one-on-one instruction. On-site position with some remote learning support as needed.

Qualifications

• Assist students with severe special education needs under licensed staff supervision.
• Implement IEP accommodations and maintain student progress records.
• Prepare materials, assist with tests, attendance, and related paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Support curriculum delivery to individuals and small groups to generalize skills.
• Maintain progress and behavior records with licensed staff and report observations.
• Provide safety, discipline support, and help with classroom events as needed.
• Assist with online/remote activities and technology troubleshooting when required.
