Job description

A large and growing government affairs firm with offices in Washington, DC is looking to hire SEVERAL experienced support professionals for Administrative Assistant and Executive Assistant roles. As a member of their administrative team, you will play a key role in managing calendars, deadlines and projects to ensure each day runs smoothly. If you are highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented, with previous experience at Capitol Hill or in professional services, submit your resume today!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize calendars, including coordinating meetings, events and both international and domestic travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and review relevant documents such as briefs and filings.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain organization of all client related records.
  • Manage all meeting logistics, prepare all meeting materials and meeting space in advance.
  • Assist with answering phone calls and drafting written correspondence on behalf of executives.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external clients, and anticipate needs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Administrative experience. You have a minimum of two (2) or more years of relevant experience in professional services or government relations.
  • Educated. A Bachelor’s degree is required for these roles.
  • Microsoft skilled. You can operate seamlessly on all the applications of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Calm and communicative. You have excellent time management skills and can prioritize a busy workload while keeping your team members in the loop.
