Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is seeking a Setup Technician at the Paragould, AR facility to safely remove, install tooling on thermoforming and extrusion equipment and ensure configurations meet production specs.

You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to execute efficient changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime while maintaining safe, organized tooling areas.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required.
• Forklift experience.
• Hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience performing precision measurements with micrometers, tape measure and dial calipers.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and install thermoforming and extrusion tooling.
• Perform product and tooling changeovers per procedures and schedule.
• Inspect tooling for damage, wear, cleanliness and condition.
• Position, align, secure, and verify tooling before startup.
• Connect and disconnect tooling-related utilities and components.
• Verify tooling clearances with precision instruments.
• Handle tooling to prevent damage to tooling, equipment, or products.
• Return tooling to storage with proper identification and protection.
• Maintain clean and organized tooling/setup areas.
• Operate a forklift.
• Travel locally between sites as needed.
