Job summary
Georgia-Pacific is seeking Maintenance Technicians at the Paragould, AR facility to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and plant structures. Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent
- Experience with computers/tablets/smartphones
- Preferred: PLC experience
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test machinery, diagnose electrical problems, and repair to keep production equipment in safe, working order
- Dismantle defective machinery and install reconditioned, new, or repaired parts
- Lubricate and maintain machine parts and electrical components
- Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts
- Operate welding equipment to join metal parts
- Repair and maintain building structures
- Install plumbing and hydraulic/pneumatic systems and replace gauges/valves
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a loud, high-volume environment for up to 12 hours
