Job summary

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and are comfortable using a computer. Preferred qualifications include an Associate degree, an Industrial Maintenance Certification, and PLC experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience working with a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery or equipment, diagnose electrical problems, and perform required repairs to install/return production equipment to operating condition.
• Dismantle defective machinery and install reconditioned, new, or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts and install/repair electrical apparatus.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts and tools.
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to join metal parts.
• Repair and maintain the establishment's physical structure.
• Plan and install plumbing assemblies and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Perform tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs and working up to 12 hours in a loud, industrial environment.
