Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Setup Technician at the Jonesboro, AR facility to safely remove, install, align and set up thermoforming and extrusion tooling. You will work with Production, Maintenance and Quality to complete efficient changeovers and minimize downtime.

Pay ranges from $21.50 to $28.00 per hour, with a Day Shift from 7am to 7pm. Drivers license and forklift experience are required, along with hands-on mechanical skills and precision measurement experience.

Qualifications

• Driver's license is required.
• Hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience performing precision measurements with micrometers, tape measures and dial calipers.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and install thermoforming and extrusion process tooling.
• Perform product and tooling changeovers according to procedures and production schedules.
• Inspect tooling before installation for damage, wear, cleanliness, and proper condition.
• Position, align, secure, and verify tooling prior to equipment startup.
• Maintain clean and organized tooling and setup areas.
• Operate a forklift.
