Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, seeks a Setup Technician at the Paragould, AR facility to safely remove, install, align, and set up tooling on thermoforming and extrusion equipment. You will work closely with production, maintenance, and quality personnel to complete efficient changeovers and minimize downtime while meeting strict specifications.

The role requires hands-on mechanical experience, DMV license, and proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required.
• Hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience using micrometers, tape measures and dial calipers for precision measurements.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and install thermoforming and extrusion tooling.
• Perform product and tooling changeovers per procedures and production schedules.
• Inspect tooling for damage and proper condition before installation.
• Verify tooling alignment and clearances using precision instruments.
• Operate a forklift and travel locally as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized tooling/setup areas and safely handle up to 50 lbs.
