Job summary

Advanced Powder Products, Inc. (APP) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team in Centre County, PA.

You will operate molding machines, CNCs and hand tools, follow defined procedures, and help ensure high-quality metal parts for medical, industrial and defense applications. You should have a High School Diploma or GED (or 1 year of manufacturing experience), basic math and computer skills, and be safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year manufacturing experience.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Orderly and responsible with tools and work area.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Must be safety conscious – wear safety glasses, etc.
• Present self in a clean, well-kept manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding machines, CNC, and hand tools.
• Set parts on ceramics and trays at prescribed rates.
• Assist with loading/unloading furnace.
• Keep work areas clean and organized daily.
• Measure products with calipers and microscopes to ensure quality.
• Inform managers of quality issues as they arise.
• Meet customer requirements and shipping demands.
• Overtime may be required.
