Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets per planned menu and events.
• Prepare alternative items to meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Handle food safely and ensure correct temperatures during prep and service.
• Portion and label foods, and maintain portion control utensils.
• Deliver meals on time and in compliance with diet orders.
• Record temperatures and maintain logs per policy.
• Keep dishes and work areas clean and sanitized; report issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory, receiving and storage of food and supplies.
• Collaborate with Culinary Manager and team to improve menus and recipes.
• Ensure routine cleaning and infection control practices are followed.
• Provide positive interactions with residents and staff and maintain punctuality.
