Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents and staff. You will follow planned menus, use proper food handling, and ensure meals are appetizing and served at the right temperature in a clean, safe kitchen.

You will work as part of a team in a long‑term care setting, maintain logs, assist with stocking, and support infection control while delivering consistent quality and compassionate service to residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification required.
• Food Handlers permit if required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to a planned menu.
• Prepare items to meet residents’ needs and preferences.
• Maintain proper food handling, temperatures, and record logs.
• Ensure meals are served appetizingly and on time.
