Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in large quantity food preparation.
• Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old due to federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets per planned menu.
• Prepare items to meet residents' individual needs.
• Maintain safe food handling and proper temperatures.
• Ensure meals served on time and with correct portions.
• Label, date, and store food properly.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary; assist with cleaning duties.
