The Salvation Army, in Fresno, CA, is seeking a full-time Housing Services Coordinator for the Silvercrest Senior Residences. The role focuses on identifying day-to-day human service needs of residents and developing service plans to support aging in place.

Silvercrest Senior Residencesserve to fill a critical need for housing for low-income seniors. Residents pay only thirty percent of their income for housing, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) pays the difference. These apartment-style communities range in size from 22 to 257 units. The units are equipped with a private kitchen and comfortable living quarters, which encourage independent living.
Status: Fulltime (40 hours per week)
Salary Range: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Possesses valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation. Driving duties include driving a TSA vehicle and/or a personal vehicle for TSA business purposes.

Knowledge of or willingness and ability to learn general HUD program requirements for 202s and PRACs.
Knowledge of local service agencies and resources for the elderly, knowledge of entitlement programs for the elderly
Understanding of legal liability issues relating to providing service coordination
Demonstrated working knowledge of working with the elderly and knowledge of the process and issues of aging, including disability, mental health and abuse issues
