Title: ServiceNow Technical Consultant

Job Summary

The Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant possesses extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. They define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications to meet business requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, research capabilities, documentation, and the ability to modify software throughout the production lifecycle.

Responsibilities

1. Manage key project processes including platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, effort estimation, and advanced development. Lead or participate in Scrum meetings.
2. Translate requirements and mock-ups into functional features in collaboration with the project team.
3. Deliver technical development and configuration of projects to high standards, guiding junior and mid-level developers.
4. Provide technical design guidance following ServiceNow best practices.
5. Keep the Project Lead updated on tasks to ensure proactive communication with customers.
6. Contribute to improving delivery processes and enhancing portfolio capabilities, expertise, and best practices based on customer needs.
7. Fill technical or process roles in projects as needed.
8. Lead, mentor, and develop team resources assigned to projects.
9. Assist in scoping new opportunities and designing tools and techniques for efficient delivery.
10. Serve as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within projects.
11. Collaborate with HR on technical interviews and recruitment processes.

Certifications Required

1. ServiceNow Platform
2. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
3. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM
4. Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSM
5. ITIL Certification

The annual salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and applicable plan terms.
