Discover Technologies’ DTech Apps is seeking a Technical Consultant to design and implement ServiceNow-based business applications for government and enterprise clients in the Washington DC area.

You will configure, test, and deploy scoped applications, serve as a subject-matter expert, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions while maintaining compliance with security standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Configuration experience with ServiceNow ITSM or ITBM applications.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs (all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system).
• Experience in designing, configuring and implementing business applications.
• Experience in building and enhancing applications through the entire lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement and support).

• Conduct unit testing and deployment of functionality in ServiceNow based applications.
• Conduct operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for production ServiceNow scoped applications.
• Function as an application subject-matter-expert for the DTech Apps Suite of applications.
• Engage with customers in both a structured and unstructured manner to understand their business problems and communicate cross-functionally across both customer and internal teams.
• Define, design, and implement business solutions.

Active Secret Clearance (or higher) is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Must have the ability to work in the Wash. DC metro area

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Configuration experience with ServiceNow ITSM or ITBM applications.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs (all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system).
• Experience in designing, configuring and implementing business applications.
• Experience in building and enhancing applications through the entire lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement and support).

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong understanding of core software engineering, system design and integration
• Create and manage scripts and workflow.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SDLC concepts and ability to apply that knowledge daily. Agile experience highly preferred.
