Job summary

The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to oversee the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the ServiceNow platform on campus in San Antonio.

You will ensure operations align with ITSM, CMDB, discovery, service catalog, and knowledge management processes, manage upgrades, and collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience administering the ServiceNow platform in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.

Responsibilities

• Administers and supports ServiceNow platform, including user access, roles, groups, and permissions.
• Configure and maintain platform components such as forms, fields, workflows, notifications, business rules, and service catalog items.
• Create, maintain and improve workflows, forms, notifications, and business rules to streamline business processes.
• Manage upgrades, patches, update sets, and migrations across environments.
• Maintain CMDB data quality and support discovery and asset/configuration management practices.
• Schedule and perform installations, upgrades and patches and maintain them per policies.
• Support integration with enterprise systems using MID servers and Integration Hub.
• Resolve platform incidents and requests, troubleshoot issues, and meet SLAs.
• Generate and maintain performance analytics, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT teams and process owners to implement enhancements and continuous improvement.
