Job summary
Texas Southern University in Houston is seeking an innovative ServiceNow Administrator to manage and optimize the ServiceNow platform within the IT team. You will oversee configuration, administration, implementation, and maintenance to support OIT operations and ensure security and alignment with organizational goals.
You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, administer ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and other modules, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver integrated system
Qualifications
- Requires knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration and configuration.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB modules and integrations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong documentation and compliance-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Serve as ServiceNow expert for system configuration, integration, and maintenance.
- Administer, configure, and optimize ITSM, ITOM, CMDB modules.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions using structured analysis.
- Analyze and integrate COTS and custom software to meet needs.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and provide timely resolutions.
- Evaluate cost, risk, and impact of changes and upgrades.
- Collaborate with teams to align system capabilities with objectives.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Support HUD OIG IT governance, compliance, and security requirements.
