Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Solution Architect for a part-time six-month engagement, with option to extend. The role is remote from the USA and pays $55–$65 per hour on a contract basis.

The candidate will lead advisory engagements, assess complex platform environments, and align technology, governance and operating models with business objectives. Strong executive presence and deep ServiceNow expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ServiceNow consulting or solution architecture experience.
• 12+ years of enterprise applications or architecture experience.
• Enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation and C-level presentation experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, SPM/PPM, CSM, HRSD, CMDB, Discovery, and automation.
• Experience with integration architectures including SAP, Oracle and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state instance architecture, modules, customizations, integrations, governance, maturity and technical debt.
• Facilitate workshops with IT leadership, business teams, platform owners, security and governance stakeholders.
• Evaluate single- vs multi-instance models, domain separation, data residency, regulatory constraints, performance and operating-model alignment.
• Develop target-state architecture, decision frameworks, principles, standards, risks and dependencies.
• Design architecture patterns for ITSM, SPM/PPM, CSM, HRSD, CMDB, Discovery and environment management.
• Lead architecture reviews and executive workshops; present recommendations and facilitate decision-making.

Role: ServiceNow Senior Solution Architect Part Time Duration: 6-Months Contract+Ext Location: USA Remote Pay Rate: $55/HR - $65/HR JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead ServiceNow instance strategy advisory engagements by assessing complex platform environments, facilitating executive workshops, evaluating architecture options, and aligning technology, governance, operating models, compliance, and business objectives. The role requires deep ServiceNow expertise, enterprise architecture leadership, and strong executive communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current-state instance architecture, modules, customizations, integrations, governance, maturity, scalability, operational effectiveness, and technical debt.
• Facilitate workshops with IT leadership, business teams, platform owners, security, and governance stakeholders.
• Evaluate single- versus multi-instance models, domain separation, data residency and isolation, regulatory constraints, performance, supportability, and operating-model alignment.
• Develop target-state architecture, decision frameworks, principles, standards, risks, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, governance recommendations, and operating models.
• Design architecture patterns for ITSM, SPM, CSM, HRSD, CMDB, Discovery, platform expansion, identity, security, data, integrations, and environment management.
• Evaluate enterprise integrations with SAP, Oracle, ERP, cloud services, identity providers, and third-party applications;define scalable, resilient, supportable integration patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews and executive workshops;present recommendations and facilitate decision-making and stakeholder alignment.

Deliverables Ownership

• Own an executive-ready assessment report, platform maturity findings, architecture options and trade-offs, risk and financial considerations, governance recommendations, prioritized roadmap with quick wins and strategic initiatives, decision framework, and final executive presentation.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of ServiceNow consulting or solution architecture and 12+ years of enterprise applications or architecture experience.
• Enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation, architecture assessment, strategic advisory, and C-level presentation experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, SPM/PPM, CSM, HRSD, CMDB, Discovery, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, AI capabilities, and automation.
• Architecture expertise in platform strategy, governance, domain separation, multi-instance models, performance, security, compliance, and cloud principles.
• Integration architecture experience with SAP, Oracle, ERP, REST, SOAP, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and related enterprise services.
• Executive presence, strategic thinking, workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, business-case development, architecture storytelling, and excellent communication.

Certifications Required

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD). Preferred: Certified Technical Architect (CTA), TOGAF, and ITIL 4 Managing Professional.
