System One, Inc. seeks a ServiceNow Sr Product Owner to lead strategy, roadmap, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions.

This contract-to-hire role requires USC/GC status and a hybrid work model with onsite in Reston, VA 1-2 days per week. You will own the product backlog, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and collaborate with analysts, architects, and engineers to ensure scalable, compliant solutions that deliver real business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/engineering/product management.
• 4+ years as a Product Owner or 6+ years in IT/business analysis.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities.
• Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and working in Agile teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the ServiceNow product backlog, defining epics, features, and user stories.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize enhancements.
• Define acceptance criteria and approve or reject development work.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with platform best practices.
• Support Agile ceremonies and improve backlog grooming processes.
• Communicate product updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Promote Agile principles and mentor team members as needed.
