Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a ServiceNow Principal Platform Architect to drive enterprise-wide platform strategy and governance across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and more. The role provides architectural leadership, guiding executives and delivery teams through complex transformations.

This senior position requires 10+ years in IT with 7+ years in ServiceNow architecture and a track record of global implementations. Strong CMDB, integration, and cloud architecture skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise-wide ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap.
• Lead solution architecture across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM, FSM, and custom applications.
• Provide architecture governance and oversee platform standards, design authority, and technical quality.
• Advise C-level stakeholders on platform strategy, modernization, AI adoption, and digital transformation.
• Lead complex architecture workshops and executive design sessions.
• Define integration, security, data, CMDB, and platform governance strategies.
• Mentor architects and senior consultants across large-scale transformation programs.
• Drive adoption of ServiceNow best practices and Expert Services methodologies.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution reviews, estimations, and strategic pursuits.

Job description

The ServiceNow Principal Platform Architect serves as the senior-most technical authority for ServiceNow platform strategy, architecture, governance, and transformation programs. This role provides architectural leadership across multiple ServiceNow product lines, ensuring scalable, secure, and business-aligned platform solutions while guiding executive stakeholders and delivery teams.

Mandatory Active Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
• Multiple CIS certifications across ServiceNow products

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise-wide ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
