Job summary

Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu, is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer / Technical Lead to drive technical leadership and platform architecture in a healthcare/life sciences ServiceNow environment. The role blends hands-on ServiceNow work with governance, standards, and delivery leadership.

You will define standards for offshore teams, lead governance discussions, and own the tie between ITSM and HRSD workstreams while guiding developers and ensuring compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and exposure to HRSD.
• Experience leading offshore delivery teams and governance.
• Strong knowledge of integrations including REST/SOAP and IAM, networking, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with release management and platform upgrades.
• Experience in Agile delivery and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Awareness of GxP or compliance-heavy environments.

Job description

We are looking a Senior ServiceNow Developer / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and platform architecture within a healthcare/life sciences ServiceNow environment. This is not a standard development role — it combines strong hands‑on ServiceNow expertise with technical governance, development standards, and delivery leadership.

The successful candidate will define and enforce development standards for an offshore delivery team in India, lead technical governance discussions, and own the technical relationship between the ITSM and HRSD workstreams. We're looking for someone who can determine how ServiceNow solutions should be designed and developed, guide other developers, and ensure technical standards are consistently followed across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across the ServiceNow platform.
• Define and enforce ServiceNow development standards, best practices, and technical guidelines for offshore delivery teams.
• Lead and participate in the technical governance board, including technical standards, documentation, and design decisions.
• Own the technical relationship and alignment between ITSM and HRSD workstreams.
• Provide hands‑on technical expertise in ServiceNow development, configuration, integrations, and L3 support.
• Review solution designs and development approaches to ensure they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow out‑of‑the‑box capabilities rather than unnecessary customization.
• Support the evolution of the HRSD platform, while maintaining strong ITSM capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance on integrations, including REST/SOAP, identity and access management, networking, and monitoring tools.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical feasibility assessments and scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Support and oversee release management and upgrade activities, including weekly minor releases, monthly major releases, and annual platform upgrades.
• Coordinate with offshore development teams and internal stakeholders across multiple time zones to ensure consistent technical delivery.
• Maintain strong technical documentation and governance records, ensuring development work is properly documented and aligned with established standards.
• Apply appropriate GxP/compliance awareness within the healthcare/life sciences environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow‑specific experience.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM and exposure to HRSD.
• Experience providing technical leadership, architecture, governance, or development standards within ServiceNow environments.
• Experience coordinating or leading offshore development teams.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integrations, including REST/SOAP and integrations with IAM, networking, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with release management and/or ServiceNow platform upgrades.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
• Awareness of GxP or other compliance‑heavy environments.
