Job summary

Veridian Tech Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced ITOM Engineer to drive digital transformation in our Financial Services team. The role focuses on ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, incident resolution, and automation to support AI, cloud, and data-led initiatives.

The position is based in Richardson, TX and requires face-to-face collaboration with onsite teams. You will design scalable solutions, manage deployments, and perform security checks and compliance reviews while coordinating with vendor

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM expertise including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management & Orchestration.
• Strong Discovery skills: MID Server, Patterns, Sensors, IRE, CMDB & CSDM.
• Python scripting for automation and DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud infra, networking and integration tools (SOAP/REST/JDBC).

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex incidents, root cause analysis & documentation
• Assess IT infrastructure & design scalable, cost-effective solutions
• Manage deployments, releases & version control
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades & performance optimization
• Conduct security checks, compliance audits & continuity planning
• Identify automation opportunities & act as liaison across onsite/offshore/vendor teams

What you'll bring:

• Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM expertise: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management & Orchestration
• Strong Discovery skills: MID Server, Patterns, Sensors, IRE, CMDB & CSDM
• Python scripting for automation
• Cloud infrastructure & networking knowledge
• Familiarity with AI-assisted dev tools (GitHub Copilot, ServiceNow AI, GenAI assistants)

Preferred:

• ServiceNow CIS (ITOM) certification
• SAM, Orchestration & Service Mapping experience
• Windows/Unix admin (PowerShell, Bash)
• Integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, JDBC)
• ServiceNow instance administration (ACLs, business rules, workflows)
• Enterprise-scale ServiceNow deployment experience
