Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow development including workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and integrations.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and data transformation/automation.
• Familiar with ITOM concepts including Event Management, CMDB, and CSDM.
• Experience integrating monitoring platforms via REST or SOAP APIs and MID Server.
• Demonstrated safety design with approvals, verification, and rollback mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Build and tune ServiceNow Event Management, including connectors, event rules, correlation and grouping logic, and alert-to-incident automation.
• Normalize severity and event fields across monitoring sources to ITIL-aligned scale.
• Engineer entity-to-CI binding accuracy with CMDB owners and CSDM alignment.
• Develop automated remediation with bounded blast radius, approvals, verification, and rollback.
• Integrate monitoring platforms with ServiceNow via REST, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer, ensuring stability across upgrades.
• Move event classes from manual to automated with auditable evidence.
