Job summary

Exelon is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB professional to design, build, and maintain IT asset management in ServiceNow. The role involves planning, designing, building, and maintaining IT services, products, and processes, with budget responsibility for a small project and minimal supervision.

This is a hybrid position with in-office work three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu). Must reside within our service territories (IL, PA, NJ, DE, MD or DC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with data analysis in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience leading small IT projects or sub-teams and knowledge of IT project management.
• Strong problem solving and analytical ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work with remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Support, enhance and maintain ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to populate CMDB.
• Perform deep technical configuration and scripting for ITOM, Discovery patterns, schedules, probes, and sensors.
• Lead build-out, attestation, refinement and troubleshooting of Service Maps.
• Conduct Health Checks and reviews of Service Maps and Discovery error trackers to identify gaps.
