Expert Technology Services in San Diego seeks a ServiceNow ITAM SME to lead HAM Pro & SAM Pro implementations, architect asset lifecycle processes, and drive data governance.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, IT Operations, and own integrations with CMDB, Discovery, and external systems; certifications and ITIL alignment are valued. This role emphasizes scripting, REST/SOAP, and analytics for license optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow ITAM solutions (HAM Pro & SAM Pro) in enterprise environments.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Design and configure asset lifecycle management processes (procurement, deployment, inventory, maintenance, disposal).
• Implement and manage software license management, compliance reporting, reclaim processes, and optimization initiatives.
• Integrate ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Procurement, ITSM, and external systems (SCCM/MECM, Intune, AD, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Azure, AWS).
• Define and maintain data models, asset classes, lifecycle states, and governance standards.
• Ensure accuracy of CMDB and Asset Repository through reconciliation and automation.
• Develop automation using ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, and Scripted APIs.
• Establish ITAM governance framework, policies, and operational procedures.
• Monitor software compliance, license utilization, and support internal/external audits.
• Provide KPI and executive dashboards for asset compliance, utilization, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations stakeholders.
• Act as SME for all ITAM-related initiatives, conducting workshops, training, and knowledge transfer.
• Key deliverables include ITAM strategy, HAM/SAM Pro implementation, CMDB and asset governance, license compliance management, integration documentation, executive dashboards, and process SOPs.
