Job description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow GRC / SecOps Technical Architect to lead the design, development, implementation and optimization of ServiceNow Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC/IRM) and Security Operations (SecOps) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions, integrating security and risk management workflows, and providing technical leadership across complex implementations. The candidate should be comfortable engaging with business stakeholders, security teams, enterprise architects and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture, design and implementation of ServiceNow GRC/IRM and SecOps solutions.
• Design and implement Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Audit Management and Third-Party Risk Management workflows.
• Architect Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response solutions using ServiceNow SecOps capabilities.
• Develop scalable platform architecture, data models, application configurations and integration frameworks.
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise security tools, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, identity management solutions and external risk systems.
• Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer and other supported integration technologies.
• Establish platform architecture standards, development best practices, security controls and governance frameworks.
• Lead technical reviews, solution assessments, performance optimization and platform upgrade planning.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, GRC, IT, compliance and business teams to define technical roadmaps and implementation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, administrators and implementation teams.
• Support solution demonstrations, technical workshops, effort estimation and presales activities where required.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of overall ServiceNow experience, including substantial enterprise implementation and architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC) and/or Security Operations (SecOps).
• Proven experience in technical architecture, solution design and enterprise platform implementations.
• Expertise in ServiceNow application development, configuration, scripting, business rules, Script Includes and client/server-side APIs.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of access controls, role-based permissions, platform security and data protection.
• Experience with enterprise system integrations, technical documentation and architecture governance.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant ServiceNow CIS certifications in Risk and Compliance, Security Incident Response or Vulnerability Response, aligned with the assigned modules.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), preferred for senior architecture responsibilities.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management and enterprise identity platforms.
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and related control and compliance practices.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise transformation programs.
