Job summary

KellyMitchell is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer for our Chicago-based Platform Team. This role is a direct W-2 position with hands-on configuration and integration work across ITSM, ITOM, and HAM modules.

You will write server-side and client-side JavaScript, design integrations via Flow Designer and IntegrationHub, and ensure quality and security across deployments. Location is Chicago-hybrid with 1–2 days onsite.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a ServiceNow developer configuring and customizing the platform for ITSM/ITOM/HAM.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CAD/CSA/CIS in one or more modules.
• Proficient in platform configuration, scripting, integrations, and reporting.
• Experience with API development (REST/SOAP) and IntegrationHub.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
• Develop integrations using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and Flow Designer.
• Write and document clean, efficient code (server-side and client-side) in JavaScript.
• Perform code reviews and quality checks on update sets, projects, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with admins, vendors, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Support platform security hardening and system maintenance.
