Job summary

Big Impact Tech (BIT) is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to own and enhance our ServiceNow platform. You will work on integrating processes, designing workflows, and configuring catalog items, dashboards, and portals within a hybrid Washington, DC footprint.

Required: 2+ years in ServiceNow development, 3+ years in Web development, and ITIL/Agile experience. BS/BA in a related IT field or equivalent experience is expected; adaptation to a fast-paced federal/commercial client environment is

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ServiceNow development including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, client scripts, data imports, and custom apps.
• 3+ years of Web development including Web Services, HTML/XHTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, jQuery or Angular.
• Experience delivering core ITSM apps: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integration.
• Experience ensuring solutions align with architectural standards and ServiceNow best practices.
• Experience planning and executing platform upgrades/releases through Production and Preproduction.
• Experience with Agile development and ITIL.
• BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS, or related IT discipline.
• Additional four years of related professional experience can substitute a BS/BA degree.

Responsibilities

• Understand all technical aspects of the ServiceNow implementation, including process integration, workflow design, and reporting.
• Provide support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, bug fixes, and root cause analysis.
• Perform basic no- to low-code configuration of ServiceNow items such as catalogs, workflows, dashboards, and portals.
