Job summary

Quarterhill Inc. seeks a ServiceNow Developer to support a multi-agency instance built around custom-scoped applications for Facilities and Work Order management.

You’ll develop, integrate, and administer ITSM and third‑party integrations, balancing hands‑on troubleshooting with configuration and scripted logic across enterprise platforms. You will work across Windows and Linux environments, contribute to patching efforts, and craft clear RCAs for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on ServiceNow development/administration experience.
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow scripting model (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, execution order).
• Experience with scoped application development.
• Familiarity with ITSM core tables (Incident, Task, SLA) and SLA logic.
• Experience building or consuming REST integrations (JSON payloads, auth troubleshooting).
• Comfortable writing background/fix scripts for data diagnostics and remediation.
• Strong written communication skills for clear RCA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features within custom-scoped applications for multiple agency clients.
• Write and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and ACLs.
• Configure and troubleshoot SLA definitions and remediation scripts.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Investigate data integrity issues using diagnostic scripts before remediation.
• Configure dynamic references, dashboards, and role-based access at scale.
• Draft client-friendly documentation and RCAs for non-technical stakeholders.
• Support administration tasks across Windows and Linux environments for integrations.
• Participate in patching activities and troubleshoot post-patch issues.
