Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with an active TS clearance to support mission-critical projects in the Virginia area. This role emphasizes hands-on design, configuration, and integration work within ServiceNow.

You will implement core configurations, catalog items, SLAs, and dashboards, collaborate with leads and junior developers, and ensure quality through unit testing and peer reviews. This is a challenging opportunity in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software design and development experience.
• 3+ years of ServiceNow development including core platform.
• Experience with ITSM and ITOM modules in ServiceNow.
• Multiple ServiceNow module implementations in the last 2 years.
• Proficiency with web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Ajax.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ideal candidate may have CIS certifications and related micro-certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement core configuration user stories with minimal guidance.
• Develop ServiceNow modules, enhancements, and admin tasks.
• Create integrations using Integration Hub and Spokes.
• Build reports and dashboards and execute unit tests.
• Peer-review colleagues' work and provide technical documentation.
• Coach junior developers and collaborate with tech leads as needed.
• Perform other duties to meet performance goals.

Location: Lorton, VA

Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $210,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer with an active TS clearance to support projects tied to their end client. This is an exciting opportunity to sharpen your skills as a ServiceNow Developer in a mission critical environment.

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Implement core configuration user stories with minimal guidance.
• User stories could cover service catalog, catalog items/record producers, knowledge bases/knowledge articles, notifications, assignment rules using advanced work assignment, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) configurations and workflows.
• Implement integrations utilizing Integration Hub and relevant Spokes.
• Implement reports and dashboards.
• Execute unit testing to ensure that implemented user stories meet acceptance criteria.
• Conduct peer reviews of other developer’s user stories.
• Provide technical documentation as required.
• Develop, manage, and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, enhancements, product development, and some system administration tasks.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior developers on best practice approaches to implement required functionality involving technical leads as required.
• Other duties as necessary for meeting performance expectations and/or assigned to Employee from time to time

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with software design and development.
• 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core platform.
• 3+ years experience within ITSM and ITOM modules within ServiceNow.
• Multiple implementations of ServiceNow modules within the last 2 years.
• Experience in working with Web technologies, including JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, AngularJS and CSS.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and participating in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Ideal candidate would possess CSA, CAD, and a minimum of 2 Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications and 5 micro-certifications (or would acquire these certifications within 6 months of hire)
