Job summary

Infosys in Richardson, TX seeks an Architecture Consultant 2 to lead architecture design for ITOM-focused deployments. You will participate in customer discussions, shape solution architecture, and guide integration across AWS, Azure and GCP within ServiceNow CMDB.

You will also drive automation and knowledge transfer with cross-functional teams. The role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, MID Server, Discovery, and PoC validation, plus scripting in Python and familiarity

Qualifications

• Experience in design and hands-on implementation of ITOM, including ServiceNow Discovery, ITOM applications, and CMDB.
• Strong knowledge of CSDM framework and CMDB health, MID Server configuration, Discovery Patterns and IRE.
• Experience integrating AWS, Azure and GCP resources into ServiceNow CMDB.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, GenAI).
• Ability to document architectural frameworks and solutions, and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

Job Description :

In the assigned Job Role of Architecture Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation
• Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform a comparative analysis in line with client's business requirement, thereby identifying optimal architectural solution options
• Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions
• Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to the build and deployment automation strategy
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and roll out methods, during build, deployment and support phases
• Analyze system performance basis architectural solutions implemented and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape
• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Experience required in:

• Experience and proven specialization in design and hands‑on implementation of ServiceNow ITOM – Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and Orchestration with deep understanding on IT Infrastructure.
• Experience in design and implementing CSDM framework and CMDB
• Strong hands‑on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow Discovery. Expertise with MID Server configuration, Discovery Patterns, Sensors, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and CMDB health.
• Experience in integrating, discovering and managing AWS, Azure, GCP cloud resources within ServiceNow CMDB.
• ServiceNow Discovery, MID Server configuration, Discovery Patterns & Sensors, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), CMDB and CSDM – hands‑on implementation and Troubleshooting experience
• Cloud resources integration and discovery – AWS, Azure, and GCP resources within ServiceNow CMDB
• Python scripting – for automation and tooling
• AI‑assisted development tools – GitHub Copilot, ServiceNow AI tools, GenAI coding assistants

Preferred Skills :

• ITOM developer experience in some or all ITOM application areas (Service Mapping, SAM, Event Management, Orchestration)
• Intermediate Windows and Unix administration skills including OS PowerShell and Bash scripting and config file interpretation/parsing
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in any ITOM applications strongly desired
• Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)
• Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users, groups, and roles, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary experience a plus
• AWS experience -extensive AWS expertise is a plus
• Experience with enterprise‑scale ServiceNow deployments
