Job summary

Smart Synergies is seeking mid and senior ServiceNow Developers to support the DoD Enterprise ServiceNow platform by designing, developing, and implementing applications that leverage OOTB modules and custom apps to migrate legacy systems and achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Mid level (3+ years) hands-on integration experience in ServiceNow.
• Senior level (5+ years) hands-on integration experience in ServiceNow.
• Experience with Low-Code/No-Code development on ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and core concepts.
• Familiarity with ACLs and security considerations.
• Experience across SDLC: analysis, design, coding, testing, production deployment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML.

Job description

Our client has an immediate need for Mid and Sr level ServiceNow Developer(s) to assist in the technical solution and development / implementation of applications leveraging the OOTB modules and customization as necessary to ensure the required business outcomes are delivered OOTB ServiceNow modules and Custom App to migrate legacy applications to the DoD Enterprise ServiceNow platform. As a ServiceNow developer, you will deliver products and services defined throughout the life cycle of the project and resolve post-production deficiencies. You will also, manage and participate in designing and developing solutions using various OOTB modules such as Product Catalog, ServiceNow Workflow, Business Rules, Script Includes, Notifications, Integration, Content Management System (CMS), and ITSM Modules, Request Management, Service Catalog, Asset Management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), CSM, and other ServiceNow modules, as required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

• Ensure all development aligns with the architecture principles of ServiceNow and is reusable, reliable, and adaptive.
• Manage the ServiceNow solution design, development, testing, migrating to Production (update sets)
• Understanding the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation.
• Ensure that the platform capabilities are efficiently and effectively utilized to drive expected business outcomes.
• Requirements elicitation, design, development, testing, training, and implementation support
• Manage the ServiceNow solution design, development, testing, and go-live support.
• Work with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and refine data requirements
• Work closely with the ServiceNow technical team to convert requirements into design and migration steps
• Understanding the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation.
• Ability to maintain and develop scoped applications
• Working with project resources to define sustainment governance and processes as part of operational transition.
• Provide guidance to convert requirements into design and migration steps.
• Proficient with business rules, client script, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, flow designer, notifications.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum US Citizen
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• Mid level (3 )Three plus years of hands-on integration experience in ServiceNow
• Senior level (5 ) Five plus years of Hands-on Integration experience in ServiceNow
• Experience in a ServiceNow platform in order to support Low-Code/No-Code Development.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow's architecture, data model, and core concepts.
• Good understanding of ACLs
