Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the operations, maintenance, and enhancement of mission-critical ServiceNow applications in a secure environment. You will work with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and integrate APIs.

You will design workflows, catalogs, record producers, and portals, implement business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and client scripts, and extend functionality with JavaScript and APIs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly on day one of employment.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing and supporting ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Experience providing O&M support for existing ServiceNow applications and instances.
• Experience developing new applications and functionality within the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience creating and modifying: workflows, catalog items, record producers, portals.
• Notifications and reports, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing O&M support for existing ServiceNow applications and the current ServiceNow instance.
• Design and develop new ServiceNow applications based on customer, mission, and business requirements.
• Create, configure, and modify ServiceNow workflows and workflow processes.
• Develop and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, and ServiceNow Portals.
• Create and manage system notifications, scheduled reports, and daily operational reports.
• Develop and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Use JavaScript to customize ServiceNow applications and implement customer-specific functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate web application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Support system installation and configuration activities within Windows server environments.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, development, testing, and delivery.
• Track requirements, tasks, defects, and technical issues using Jira.
• Incorporate information security policies and technical security requirements into system and requirements documentation.
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, and system issues.
