Job summary

CSC Generation's Roanoke dealership seeks a Service Writer to bridge customers and the service team—translating rider concerns into clear repair orders that keep the shop running smoothly.

You will own the full lifecycle of service interactions: greeting customers, diagnosing needs, writing repair orders, managing warranty claims, and maintaining accurate documentation and customer profiles. This role offers growth through hands-on experience with EVO Lightspeed and a variety of brands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a service department.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Mechanical and technical competency in industry terms.
• Experience with dealership or POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess service needs, and translate into repair orders.
• Open, manage, and close repair orders with service manager guidance.
• Handle warranty validation and claims processing.
• Identify service opportunities to drive sales and maintain accurate estimates.
• Maintain customer profiles and service documentation.
• Keep the service library and manuals organized.
