Job summary

Cyclewise Vermont is seeking a Service Writer to bridge customers and service technicians. You will document service concerns, create repair orders, and keep riders informed with timely updates.

Ideal candidates have dealership or service-writing experience, strong communication, and a customer-first attitude. Powersports knowledge is a bonus; familiarity with Indian Motorcycle, Ducati, Triumph, Suzuki, and CFMOTO is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership or service department.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to document concerns and repair requests accurately.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to tools and processes.
• Comfort using computers, texting, and digital updates.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and accurately document service concerns and repair requests.
• Create repair orders, estimates, and service recommendations.
• Communicate with technicians to prioritize and schedule repairs.
• Keep customers informed through phone, text, and email updates.
• Present maintenance recommendations and additional service opportunities.
• Coordinate approvals and ensure timely completion of work.
• Process payments and maintain accurate service records.
• Help drive customer satisfaction, retention, and service department growth.
