Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Service Writer to manage inventory and parts distribution for our service department. You will coordinate part orders, maintain repair orders, and ensure accurate invoicing and data entry as part of daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Excel and Word, and the ability to obtain forklift certification. You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Computer data entry skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Control parts distribution to mechanics and technicians.
• Coordinate part orders.
• Maintain parts list and repair orders (ensure parts are charged out).
• Stock part shelves and maintain a clean parts room.
• Enter all invoices (parts / outside repairs).
• Coordinate parts returns with Warranty Department.
• Track EZ-Pass and Qualcomms.
• Assist Service Manager with scheduling work.
• Control inventory of parts and tires.
• Repair Order and Invoice Data entry.
