Dexian is seeking a Service Engineer (Forklift Mechanic) in Houston, TX, to provide field support and diagnostics for dealer and customer sites. The role emphasizes problem analysis, field issue resolution, and collaboration with engineering teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–7 years of job-related experience.
• At least 3 years of lift truck industry experience.
• Experience communicating with dealers.
• Ability to travel to customer sites.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings or drafting materials.
• Failure analysis experience.
• Statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to dealer parts and service personnel, internal departments, and affiliated organizations.
• Conduct detailed problem analysis to resolve product issues.
• Identify, quantify, investigate, and analyze quality and reliability concerns affecting products in the field.
• Provide information and training to Service Analysts and Parts Analysts.
• Monitor product health to help control and reduce warranty expenses.
• Maintain problem logs to identify and quantify recurring issues.
• Communicate product concerns to service engineering, design engineering, and other engineering teams as appropriate.
• Initiate requests for product improvements with Engineering.
• Travel to dealer and customer sites to assist with field problem resolution.
• Assist dealers with customer acceptance and satisfaction concerns.
• Support coordination across departments to resolve problems and communicate solutions to the field.
• Perform other duties and activities as assigned.
