Yancey Bros. Co. in Washington, GA is seeking a Customer Service Specialist / Service Writer to be the first point of contact for customers needing shop repairs.

On-site at the Machine Service Center, you will quote, schedule, open/close and track jobs, and monitor costs versus invoices to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong communication, organization and a working knowledge of Caterpillar products and repair processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• 3–5 years troubleshooting and repairs knowledge of Caterpillar products.
• At least two years assisting customers with accounts in person and over the phone.
• Experience prioritizing workflows with fluid demands.
• Extremely organized.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial contact for customers and communicate about repairs.
• Manage jobs by opening, closing, tracking, and scheduling.
• Monitor the cost of the job versus the invoice amount.
• Preorder parts and communicate tooling needs to Team Leaders.
• Meet and maintain company metrics in service performance.
• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
