Job summary

ProX Powersports, a leading powersports dealer in Ooltewah, TN, seeks a Service Advisor/Writer to join the on-site service team. You will greet customers, document vehicle concerns, and coordinate with mechanics to determine repair options.

You will explain service plans, schedule drop-offs and pickups, and guide customers through warranty considerations. The ideal candidate has prior service-advisor experience, strong communication, and a drive for excellent customer service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Advisor/Writer preferred.
• Must have driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Greeting customers and discussing vehicle concerns.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and record vehicle concerns and information.
• Consult with mechanics regarding repairs and alternatives.
• Explain parts and service options to customers and upsell where appropriate.
• Schedule appointments, vehicle drop-off and pick-up, and coordinate service flow.
• Provide warranty, repair, and maintenance recommendations to customers.
• Maintain service department workflow and communicate changes to customers.
• Ensure accurate billing and processing of payments for services.
• Coordinate with factory/extended warranty for repairs when needed.
• Search catalogs for needed parts and order them when unavailable.

Service Advisor Experience Preferred

Job Requirements:

• Greeting customers and listing all vehicle concerns and information.
• Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to repairs.
• Using your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
• Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.
• Providing customers with information and advice on warranty protections, repairs needed, and maintenance needed.
• Overseeing the service department’s workflow and schedule.
• Calling customers to advise them about service changes or vehicle pick-up times.
• Maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Ensuring all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing their payments.
• Submitting and receiving approval from factory and extended warranty for repairs needed.
• Searching digital catalogues for needed parts for repairs, ordering needed parts if not available in store.
• Strong organization skills a must
