Qualifications

  • At least one year of general office experience or equivalent training.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Service Writer.

Responsibilities

  1. Assure the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner.
  2. Maintain records concerning inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units.
  3. Input information into the computerized fleet analysis system (TMW) daily.
  4. Maintain relationships with vendors.
  5. Prepare purchase orders for management approval.
  6. Receive, tag, stock, and dispense parts to mechanics according to corporate and regional policies and local procedures.
  7. Review purchase orders with accounting to ensure proper payment of invoices.
  8. Produce productivity and usage reports for management review.
  9. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  11. Prepare and assign work orders to technicians.
  12. Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating professionally with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, and management.

Experience & Education

  1. High school diploma or G.E.D. certification and at least one year of general office experience or equivalent training.
  2. Proficiency with office equipment including telephone, fax, copier, calculator, and computer.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  4. Experience with company information systems such as InfoPro and CFA.
