Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Advisor to join our team. We are looking for someone that will treat every customer like they would want their mother treated. Customer experience is paramount to us.

The Service Advisor is such a key position. You talk to multiple customers a day. You have to be able to help and guide them through maintaining their vehicle or counseling them as they are going through a difficult situation where their vehicle is down. It's essential to connect with every customer and be empathetic.

Key Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

· Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
· Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive at the service department.
· Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs.
· Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
· Prepare cost estimates and obtain customer approvals for work to be completed.
· Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
· Keep customers updated multiple times throughout the day so they feel valued and know what is going on.
· Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted.
· Manage repair orders from start to finish and ensure timely completion.
· Implement a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
· Give a great customer experience so they want to come back to the store and you again.

Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of experience working as a service writer at a dealership required
Ability to drive vehicles, Current Clean Valid Driver's License is required.
Experience working with Dealer Track
Use of X-Time platform (video, appointments, MP, Parts)
· Advanced understanding of vehicle systems and repair terminology
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
