Job summary

Kia of Old Saybrook is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team in Connecticut. You will greet customers, collect vehicle information, and clearly report symptoms to determine maintenance needs based on vehicle age, mileage, and history.

You will prepare estimates for labor and parts, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers throughout the day. We offer competitive base salary plus commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment with professionalism.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance schedules a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
