Job summary

Comfor Temp Heating and Air Conditioning in Willowbrook, IL is seeking a Service Technician for Refrigeration and commercial HVAC equipment. Schedule runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with occasional overtime.

You’ll work with Trane and Bryant systems, perform service, maintenance, repair and installation, and educate customers on preventative maintenance and IAQ products. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in refrigeration service, EPA Universal Certification, and strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Refrigeration service, repair, and installation experience.
• Commercial HVAC repair experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Providing service, maintenance, repair and installation of Refrigeration equipment and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers about problems and solutions.
• Educating customers on preventative maintenance and Indoor Air Quality products and services.
• Retrofit / Changeout Installations.
• Duct work as needed and equipment installation.

Service Technician - Refrigeration| $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, Depending on experience + Spiffs

Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm with occasional overtime

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

• Providing service, maintenance, repair and installation of Refrigeration equipment and commercial HVAC equipment. No restaurant hot side
• Communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers
• Educating customers on the benefits of preventative maintenance and Indoor Air Quality products and Services.
• Retrofit / Changeout Installations
• Furnace, AC, heat pumps, split systems, RTU's, walk-in and reach-in coolers, Freezers, small air-cooled chillers, make up air units etc.
• Duct work as needed
• We install Trane and Bryant equipment
• Providing outstanding service to our customer

Qualifications :

• 3 + years of Refrigeration service, repair, and installation experience
• Commercial HVAC repair experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Experienced at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for wide range of commercial and Residential HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to commercial customers and coworkers
• Operate scissors and genie lifts in safe manner
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Certification of completion from an HVAC Technical School is desired
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
